Hopefully this link will work. I uploaded some pictures to Picasa and decided to share them this way. There were too many to upload onto a post, but I still wanted those of your who would like to see, to be able to see. Hannah had a blast at her Teddy Bear Picnic!

First Haircut

I know, I know, my daughter will be 3 in a little over a week, and she is just now getting her haircut for the first time. She has such cute curls in the summer, and I didn't want to cut her curl out, but with the recent heat we've had, she had curl on some of her new hairs, so I bit the bullet and took her to get a trim. We really didn't get much taken off, and you may not even notice it, but she had a little tail in the back. So now it's all even and at least healthier. She loved getting her haircut. She watched Daddy get a haircut a while ago and asked when she could get her hair cut. I told her in April, when I have my spring break. She didn't forget (she rarely forgets anything!) and brought it up several times. She was so excited on Monday, and never stopped smiling the whole time. Really. From the moment we left the house to the moment she went to bed, she talked about it. She got her nails done and got "fairy dust" in her hair along with a cotton candy hair spritzer, and she felt like a princess. Luckily, we had a great coupon, or this wouldn't have made mommy feel so good!

Easter

Since I was off on Good Friday, we took advantage of the day by dying some Easter eggs! She loved watching color tablet dissolve in the water and vinegar and see the color that it made. She was excited to drop the eggs in and stir them around. She made her favorite colors and then when they dried she put one sticker on each egg. She had a whole sheet of stickers, and in true Hannah sticker fashion I thought she'd use all of them, but she didn't. She's very proud of the eggs that are still sitting on our kitchen table. Easter weekend was jam packed for us! We started Saturday morning off early, because Hannah was too excited about her egg hunt at church. She literally got out of bed (early) and said "I'm so excited!". Whew. It took a while to get her to realize we had to wait until 11:00 for the festivities. Once we got to the location, the excitement didn't stop. She played all the games, and graciously got prizes for each one, even though she was able to "win" only a few. She tried the bounce house but it had too many big kids and she backed out of it immediately. She loved hunting for all the eggs and got a huge basket full (all the preschoolers got full baskets and there were still lots of eggs left over!). She and Daddy counted her coins and traded them in for some fun Easter goodies.

Then we headed over to the Vitters' house for an early Easter dinner. We ate lots of yummy food, Hannah got an Easter basket from Mimi, and got to have another Easter Egg hunt.
After a late (and I mean late for Hannah) night we got up, explored the goodies from the Easter Bunny, and made it to church just in time to see the butterflies get released. Hannah loved the butterflies. After church we headed to the Millers' for Granddaddy's birthday dinner/Easter dinner. We again ate lots of good food, Hannah got an Easter basket from Nana (and she enjoyed "giving" Amelia the Easter goodies from Nana), and yet another Easter egg hunt.Naps and bedtime were not easy this weekend, but we had a very happy little girl, who despite the various egg hunts, goody baskets, prizes, and food, still understood that Jesus was the reason for the whole thing.
