All in a Day

We started the day (a few Saturdays ago - of course, I'm behind) in the ballerina tutu playing hopsctoch, and there was a big pink flower headband in her hair at one point.

Then she became a princess, but didn't want to leave Daddy to eat lunch, so the princess had a picnic (with a breakfast in bed tray) while watching Daddy mow the grass. After a (very) brief nap, she put on a sundress. I don't have pictures...sorry. Even our neighbor William said that evening "I think that's like the 4th thing I've seen her in today." Justin replied with "You have no idea!".

belly pictures

Okay, so I'm finally updating some pictures. Here are some belly pictures. It just happens that I'm wearing the same shirt in the first two pictures!

12 weeks pregnant:17 weeks pregnant (Hannah had to be in the picture too, there is a picture without her as well, but this was just too darn cute not to include):

22.5 weeks pregnant (Hannah is showing her baby too):

I have finally started gaining weight, in abundance. I guess I'm making up for the weight I lost earlier on. Hopefully it'll start slowing down some now so I don't end up gaining too much! I am still taking more medication than I did before I was pregnant. Daily prenatal vitamin, Zantac twice daily (which is a disaster to forget, which I discovered this past week), a baby asprin (for the clotting issue I have associated with my RA), and I'm still taking the Zofran. I can make it through the day without the Zofran but end of feeling way worse at night than if I take it during the day. I still feel bad at night, don't eat much meat or veggies, but I've stopped vomiting, so we're doing better around the Vitters house!

Oh boy!

Justin and I went to our ultrasound this week and discovered we have a healthy, active, little boy! He was certainly not shy (like his sister was) and put himself on display. Literally, he was doing the splits and letting it all hang out. Unfortunately he was hiding his face for most of the ultrasound and wouldn't move in the right directions to get all the pictures they needed. So, we just have to have another ultrasound next time. It'll be fun to see him again, as that's a special treat to have an unplanned ultrasound. Hopefully he'll cooperate this time around.

Hannah was okay with the news. Not totally thrilled, but the night before she said "I want a sister, I don't like boys." I don't think she's really going to care, she just loves babies. As of right now she wants to help me change his diapers, but "only pee-pee". She doesn't like poo poo and doesn't want to get it on her. Ha! We'll see how long the helping with the pee-pee ones lasts :)

We haven't picked a whole name yet. We know he'll be named Benjamin after Justin's Grandpa, but that's not what we are going to call him. We'll update you later with a decision. I will also scan in some pictures of "baby boy" and possibly even some belly pics soon. I just wanted to quickly share our news with you all!
