Old Favorites

Hannah turned 9 months old yesterday. Luckily, Nana was there when I got home from work (very late-almost 7:00; helping set up for Family Movie Night at School) to help me get a few pictures. Without her help, I don't know if we would have gotten anything. Hannah was not interested in staying still (is she ever?), the bow was too much excitement, and the sign was too appetizing. Notice a faint blue lip in some of the pictures. Luckily the markers are non-toxic! I have a super quick camera, but have found out that Hannah is quicker.

Another favorite thing lately are the magnets on the refrigerator. She loves the magnets but loves the pictures more. She's been wanting to look at the pictures on all refrigerators for a while (Mimi and Nana's fridges are the best because they are filled with pictures of her!) so I took two of her favorite pictures and put them in heavy duty protective magnet frames. Hannah will go to the one of her and Madeline and stand at it for quite a while, just talking to Madeline non-stop. It's a hoot. She'll talk to the Mommy and Daddy picture some too, but mostly she talks to Madeline.

Hannah's big gift this Christmas was from Mimi and Papa John. They gave Hannah a cute stroller/walker. Hannah loves to pull up on it and even takes some steps behind it. I have a feeling it won't be long until she's pushing it all over!
Several times this week, I have seen Hannah trying to push herself up to stand. Yikes! Here we go...
Hannah loves the balls she got for Christmas (it's the little things, literally). She got some fun little balls in her Nana stocking and then her sunflower ball for Beth and Austin. She will dump out her toy crate or climb in it, just to find one of her balls.
This week we started Kiwi. Instead of pureeing it, we did it as a finger food. She is so determined to pick them up, but they are too slippery. Instead she opens her mouth wide and makes noises until I put them in her mouth for her. Last night she ate almost an entire Kiwi by herself. She would have kept going if I hadn't cut her off (she'd already had chicken and veggies for dinner!)
It's been a fun start to the new year. Still no pictures of the new tooth, but hopefully soon.
