Pig Tails & New Sport

Right now Hannah's favorite thing is to climb. If she sees it, she tries to climb it. She has no fear and is very stubborn. It doesn't matter how many time-outs she ends up with, standing in the middle of the coffee table is the only place she wants to be.

Nana bought a picnic table at Belles and Beaus, but it wouldn't fit in her car, so we have it right now. Hannah enjoys sitting at it, but likes to sit on it better.

Labor Day 2010

We spent our Labor Day weekend at the Miller Mountain house for the annual Miller gathering. It was actually COLD. We had to build a fire in the wood burning stove both mornings and had to eat inside instead of on the porch. The s'mores by the fire actually felt good. It was so cold we didn't raft. This is the first time I can remember that the family didn't raft while in the mountains. We did head to Deep Creek though and did some hiking. We had a picnic and headed off to some falls. Justin and I took turns hauling Hannah around. She enjoyed herself and loved the water. She chatted the whole time. The weekend was very relaxing, even with a 16 month old. It was just what we all needed. Here is our weekend in pictures.

Getting Caught Up...Again

Once again, I have to get all caught up in 1 post. Unfortunately I can't do that with the scrapbook, I'm way behind on that!

Hannah started "school". She isn't a huge fan of getting dropped off by Daddy, but she has stopped screaming/crying and even waved bye to him last week. She has started to eat all of her lunch and all of her snacks (the snacks were never a problem). She has gotten used to it, and actually really likes being with the other kids and the big toys. Every day I pick her up, she has to pull me over to something that she's playing with. Lately it's been a baby doll. She's crazy about babies! This week when I picked her up she had to go say "bye-bye" to all the kids left in the room. It was super cute. Of course, the teddy bear got a "bye-bye" too.
Madeline celebrated her second birthday and we got to help her. Hannah enjoyed herself and her cupcake! She absolutely loves her "Mahmah".

Hannah had her first pony tail. It was so cute!!! Miss Jessica at school put it in when Hannah was so sweaty on the playground. I was surprised when I picked her up and even more surprised that she's kept it in for so long. It was hard to get a picture of it, because her hair is so light it doesn't show up so great. Here she is "eating" her blankie. Apparently her blankie is her favorite thing to eat, except for "cook-cooks" (see next picture).

As I was quickly trying to get the casserole out of the oven Hannah discovered the vanilla wafers were on a self that she can now reach. She loves those things. She usually only gets 1 or 2 for dessert after dinner, but she knows her "cook-cooks". She opened the box and had managed to dump them all out before I could get the oven shut. She and Kodak had an excellent pre-dinner snack. While I was cleaning up the mess, she managed to use her xylophone as a stool and climb up on the coffee table and stand in the middle of it. It was a banner evening :)

Now an update on the sicknesses: Hannah is getting over an ear infection. She currently has a runny nose, but that is nothing compared to what we've had the last 20 or so days. She is currently fever free, however Justin isn't. He shouldn't have gone to work yesterday or today but now he has the weekend to rest (yeah, right) and try to get better. Hopefully Hannah won't catch whatever her Daddy has. It seems to be something she hasn't had yet. Yikes!
