Okay, here is the rest of the Maine post. I'm sorry it's been so dragged out, but my time on the computer is limited and with school about to start and the house still on the market, I just don't have much "free" time to post!
Our second full day in Maine we went to Two Lights State Park for a picnic. There was a great shelter and field for the whole family and a wonderful playground that Hannah and her cousins enjoyed. We also went on some little hikes (more like walks) to the coast and got to see the traditional rocky Maine coastline. Hannah liked seeing the ocean and the big rocks.
After the picnic we went on a lighthouse tour. I loved it! We saw 4 lights up close and one in the distance. I saw 15 total lighthouses on the trip, but I won't bore you with the pictures. I have a Picasa album with them, and if you're interested in seeing them, I'll be happy to send you the link.
We went into downtown Portland for a fabulous dinner and then we headed back to the hotel for another late night (for Hannah that is) bedtime, while others went to enjoy some yummy ice cream.
Our final day in Maine was stopped at a local sweet shop that advertises it's chocolate moose. It
was pretty amazing. Hannah and her cousin Addie got chocolate moose lollipops from Mimi. We then went on to Addie's house (Justin's cousin Sherri - who coordinated this reunion wonderfully) to play for a while and eat lunch, and then it was back on the road.
Our little family traveled down to Boston stopping to visit a few lighthouses along the way, and then stopped in Boston and spent the night with
Aunt Llora's parents. They were very gracious at our last minute drop in. We left Boston the next morning and started the long trek home. The next two days of traveling were very uneventful, even with a 2 year old. We are so blessed to have a little girl who can handle the car (and the potty) so well, as long distances will always be in our future!
Thank you Vitters family for an awesome reunion. Maybe we'll see you in three years in Portland, Oregon (although I'm not sure we'd be driving that one!).

re. She had a blast jumping the waves, playing in the sand and splashing. It was a good start to 
our trip. We went home and got cleaned up and then it was out to dinner with the whole family, lobsters! After a tutorial on how to eat a Maine lobster, we got down to business. It was very tasty! Hannah had a blast with all of the little cousins, and the room we were in was perfect fo
r them. They danced and ran and played and had a ball. My kiddos group picture didn't turn out so well (I had the wrong camera obviously!We tried to
go on a walk on the beach after dinner but it didn't last long as the bugs were taking over. 
It was a great first day in Maine.
