Tube Treats

So as usual, it's been a while since I posted anything. The past few weeks have been very hectic for me. We have accomplished a few things though. Jessica had a very successful bachelorette party in Myrtle Beach, and I survived my first night away from Hannah.

Hannah's tubes seem to be going fine. The day of the procedure was interesting. Hannah wasn't a fan of the anesthesia, but didn't do too badly immediately. I of course sobbed as they were carrying her away in her hospital gown, screaming. That afternoon Noah came over for our regular Thursday play date and brought Hannah get well popsicles. They had a good time eating them together. A few short hours later Hannah started running a fever, and it was a little higher than they said it would be, and she was pretty miserable. She also had a tooth coming in. She didn't even want french fries or ice cream from Chick-fil-A. It was very sad. Right before bedtime, Daddy's friend Brian brought Hannah over a get well present. A little birdie told him she was into Mickey Mouse and he found a MM train. Hannah thanked him but wasn't feeling so great so she fell asleep on me while Brian as visiting. The next morning though, the train was a hit! It took about 2 more days for her to finally become herself again. We are thankful that it's behind us (for now) and that everything seems to be going well.
