Busy Weekend

Whew! What a busy weekend we had. It was fine for me and Justin, but Hannah had too much! Since Friday was Justin's birthday, we went to his parents house on Saturday for lunch. Hannah was great. We then headed out to the Parrish's Chapin Lake house and spend the afternoon/evening with the Parrish family, Williesha and John. Hannah was mostly great. She wasn't too happy when she met Williesha, sorry Willie! But for the most part she did well. Only a few minor meltdowns and mostly because she was tired. She went to bed VERY late Saturday night because a boatload of us went out on the lake (not Hannah - thank you Mimi for sacrificing watching fireworks to watch Hannah!) to watch the fireworks. Needless to say, it was quite late when we got the boat back to the Vitters with the boat and then back to Lexington. Sunday morning we got up and went to church (we didn't make it to Sunday School). Hannah was fantastic during the service. We then went out to eat with our Sunday School class. Hannah was perfect. I headed out to my weekly Walmart trip and left her with Justin just as she was getting the hiccups. Hiccups really frustrate her so she got fussy with Daddy but then calmed down. We then went to dinner at the Connor's house with the Grahams. Hannah started out okay, but then went into complete meltdown mode. She was screaming and nothing would calm her. Heather even broke out her exercise ball for us to bounce on (usually works like a charm) but it didn't even work. Not even a bottle helped. She ate, but then continued to get worse. As soon as she got in her car seat to go home, she fell asleep. I think she was just worn out. I tried to keep her same schedule as much as possible all weekend and keep routines the same, but it was different and a LOT of extra stimuli. She woke up smiling and happy Monday morning after sleeping 7 hours straight (yippee).
